There is nothing better than being creative; letting those juices flow and carving a plan out of the chaos and streaming bits. I love makeup and I wanted an area that would help me brand myself and also provide a beautiful backdrop for my transformation photos since I am building my portfolio. If you are a serious artist and you have clients in your studio -whether it be at home or on commercial property- then having a cohesive feel is important.
My backdrop not only helps me with branding, but it adds a level of professionalism to my photos. There are tons of places where you can get a backdrop; I got mine from Amazon. But back drops can be cloth, or paper rigged up by a formal stand like this one from Fancier Studio. At the end of the day, whatever you decide, make sure it suits your personality and enjoy!
